Rentals Terms
These terms apply to all reservations confirmed for a stay at La Bastide Lavandin.
- Booking and rental period
A booking is confirmed once the reservation has been validated through the booking platform. The rental period begins on the check-in date and ends on the check-out date stated in the reservation. - Maximum occupancy
The house may only be occupied by the number of guests indicated in the booking confirmation. Additional guests must be approved by the owner. - Security deposit
A security deposit equivalent to €1500 is required. The deposit must be paid no later than seven days before arrival. It will be held during the stay and released five days after check-out, provided no damage or additional costs occur. - Cancellation policy
If cancellation occurs within 48 hours after booking, 75% of the amount paid will be refunded.
If cancellation occurs more than 60 days before the start of the stay, 50% of the amount paid will be refunded.
If cancellation occurs less than 60 days before the start of the stay, the booking is non-refundable. - House rules
Guests agree to respect the property, its surroundings, and the neighborhood. Parties and events are not permitted without prior approval. agree to respect the property. As Provence is particularly exposed to wildfire risks, guests are required to exercise the utmost caution. It is strictly forbidden to light any fires, candles, or open flames inside or outside the property (except for designated equipment). Pets are not allowed on the property unless prior written approval has been given by the owner.
Failure to comply may result in a minimum fixed penalty of €150 as well as any additional cleaning or restoration costs, which may be charged and/or deducted from the security deposit. Subletting the property is strictly prohibited. - Plumbing and toilet use
The property is equipped with a pompe de relevage (lifting pump), which requires special care.
Only toilet paper may be flushed down the toilets. It is strictly forbidden to dispose of wipes (including “flushable” wipes), sanitary products, tampons, paper towels, cotton pads, or any other items in the toilet. These must be placed in the bins provided.
In the event of a blockage caused by improper use, any costs related to plumber call-outs, repairs, or maintenance will be fully charged to the tenant. - Swimming pool The pool is made available to guests, who use it under their sole responsibility throughout the stay. Guests agree to follow all safety rules and use the pool in a careful and appropriate manner. The pool is equipped with an alarm system compliant with current regulations. Guests acknowledge having been informed of its operation and mandatory use. The alarm must remain activated at all times when the pool is not in use. It may only be deactivated during swimming and must be reactivated immediately afterward. It is strictly forbidden to leave the alarm deactivated outside swimming periods. Guests are informed that the alarm is a detection device and does not replace human supervision. Children and, more generally, any person who cannot swim or is vulnerable must be actively, constantly, and closely supervised by a responsible adult.
- Outdoor areas
The property includes terraces, garden areas and natural outdoor spaces. Guests use these areas at their own risk and should exercise appropriate caution. - Guest responsibility and insurance
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its contents during their stay. Guests are encouraged to ensure that they have appropriate travel or liability insurance covering holiday rentals. - Governing law
These rental terms are governed by French law.
Confirming a reservation constitutes acceptance of these rental terms. In case of discrepancy, the French version shall prevail.
